Sail your own boat
With FriendShips, you are renting a user-friendly electric boat in a beautiful design, which does not require any certificate or previous experience to sail.
The boats can hold up to 8 people (no matter size or age) with plenty of legroom
As the boats are electric, you don’t need to deal with a noisy engine. Just sit back and relax in the soft cushions while the boat silently brings you through the canals of Copenhagen.
All of our boats are controlled with a steering wheel, which makes sailing easier for inexperienced captains. This also means the captain is comfortably facing people in the boat when sailing.
And in the centre of the boat, we have placed a large wooden table, making it the perfect settings for a picnic on the water.
At FriendShips we also offer bigger boats with captains. These boats are perfectly suited for bigger groups or events. We have boats that can have up to either 12 or 25 people aboard.
You book these types of boats by sending us an email on info@friendships.dk and let us know when and for how long you would like to sail.
These boats are sailed by an experienced captain from FriendShips, who will bring you safe and calm around the canals of Copenhagen. You can tell any wishes for the route to the captain or simply let the captain take you around the typically best places based on how long you have booked for. Aboard there will be a soundboks speaker, a table and a champagne cooler.
It is also possible to get picked up and dropped off in different places in the harbour of Copenhagen. Let us hear if you have any requests, and we will let you know how long would be required to pick you up/drop you off at those locations.

12 person boat
This type of boat can hold maximum 12 passengers. The boat needs to booked at least 24 hours before take-off and cannot be booked without a captain.
This boat costs 1600kr per hour.

25 person boat
This type of boat can hold maximum 25 passengers. The boat needs to be booked at least 5 days before take-off and cannot be booked without a captain.
This type of boat costs 2750kr per hour and needs to be booked for minimum 2 hours.
